Indi-ssentials is the product making business of Jaipur Remedial Therapies, a therapy studio based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Created by Aromatherapist and massage therapist Dannie Sowden.

The focus of the brand is of merging East and West, elements of India with Western elements, a reflection of Dannie herself who is originally from the UK but has been living in India for over 6 years.

It’s about culminating two loves, India and essential oils. Dannie has been blending and working with essential oils for fourteen years. Product making began when she wanted to make up some of her own massage oils in her practice as she didn’t like the synthetic or poor quality oils she was coming across. Her clients loved the oils she was using in her practice and would ask to buy them, even requesting custom made products to help with their needs….and the idea and passion for Indi-ssentials was born.

Dannie loves working on new creations and coming up with natural products that contain the benefits and therapeutic qualities of essential oils and Ayurvedic oils to bring about therapeutic and aromatherapy products that meet the customers needs.

Dannie’s assistant Tarrnum assists with making and preparing products and she says how much she loves the smell and enjoys the work, as it is very different from her other jobs.

Our team and business is small and we keep it that way, so that the focus and care is kept on our products and making sure each product is of exceptional quality. The focus is on quality products over quantity products.
